JONATAN CAÑADA - PROFILE

Certainly this gymnast couldn't be out of our VIP list! Certainly who could see him competing will never forget the mix of strenght, flexibility, emotion and charisma... We proudly present...

-Full name: Jonatan Cañada Vicente

-Where are you from? “Spain.”

-When you started in Aerobic Gymnastics? How many years you had been competing? “I started to training in 1993 and competed for 17 years.”

-Do you practice or have practiced some other sport? “No.”

-How many hours you used to training? “About 6 hours/day.”

-Who inspired you in aerobic? “My partner Alba de las Heras made me begin. And others: Sue Stanley, Patsy Tierney, Greice Kerche, Roberson Magalhães...”

-Which was the most important presentation/competition in your life? Why? “Most important? I think “Dracula” 1998, in Orlando (Walt Disney World), because it was like a dream come true. The best reward was in 2000, after I got injured.”

-Do you had some superstition before the presentations? “Superstition? I don’t think so... just watching all over rivals to get fire and do it better than them. Always thinking that there was no limits and I had to do it better.”

-Are you still working with aerobic? “Yes, I’m still working with aerobic. I would love to become functional presenter for training in sport aerobics as now is missing a loto f new trends that we must include.”

-Leave a message to encourage Roypim and Desi for the 2013 World Games: “Just enjoy them, is one in a time and sometimes you miss the best you get from them: friends, memories and stories. Do not miss them!”

Thank you, Jonatan!!!
